My peeve is when people subtweet my game instead of just naming it. How am I supposed know where to go to delve into the intricacies of menstruation and seminal emissions in my setting?
Don’t forget we moved!

RE: MU Peeves Thread
Passive participation results in passive inclusion. We can’t know you want to do something if you don’t tell us you want to do something. That’s not gatekeeping, it’s just a lack of telepathy

RE: Concordia Thread
I was holiday-ing, but it looks like the wonderful Terminus has replaced the stolen writing with a placeholder in my absence.
To confirm, this is an OC, and the character has yet to be submitted for approval or anything, but if this desc makes its way back, even with tweaks, the app will be declined with explanation.
If you’d like, @Roz, I can forward this player your rates for autographs

RE: Concordia Thread
So I don’t usually engage here because it feels a bit like wading into a tank of piranha, but I wanted to pop in after scrolling back farther than was good for my heart.
(All of this written in my own words, without the help of ChatGPT )

We are not closing any time soon. Quite the opposite! We have just opened several new systems, OCs have opened back up, secrets have been doled out, and Something Big is coming next week.

Duke and I put this game together for fun, thinking maybe a handful of people would check it out over time. The intent was certainly never to be a novel-quality masterpiece, just a little place to RP with our buddies. About an hour after opening, I think we were up to something like 50 players and went oh man, I guess we need to give people something to do while we make more rosters and wade through these OCs! I busted out ChatGPT to churn out a heckload of documentation in a short amount of time, as well as dozens of roster characters, and one vignette to give people something to interact with while we tried to get our stuff together. I know that offended people, it just never occurred to me that I would need to clearly disclose something that seemed very obvious (and temporary) to me.

Getting our stuff together turned out to be really hard. While I intended to go back through and rewrite all the doc (which was generated from my own writing and notes) the way I would have if I’d had the amount of time we thought we were going to, instead I ended up putting out a lot of the fires that Duke mentioned above. I am just now getting around to it, but I am glad that I used AI so that people wouldn’t have to wait endlessly for individual answers while we scrambled to keep up. I would do so again in that same situation. It’s a helpful tool, even if it is very fond of describing the resilient spirit of the tapestry of grandeur of Ignovis. I might feel bad if I were making money off of this game instead of spending money so that people can play it for free, but happily, that is not the case!
Anyway, all of this to say, we’re alive and having fun over on Concordia, the AI-generated things are gradually being replaced now that I’ve caught my breath, and the heart and soul of the game have always been human-written anyway.
If you’re still turned off, that’s ok! This was never going to be the game for everyone, and we knew that going in, but everyone is very welcome to stop by and check out our latest stuff if they’re in the mood!

RE: Concordia Thread
@Warma-Sheen Hi there! Spes from ConcordiaMu here. There is a very specific thing in the story that causes the members of House Skyborne to have little pigment in their hair/eyes/skin on birth. We tried very hard to make sure that we had a diverse cast of characters, and are open to constructive feedback from anyone from a community that is feeling unrepresented.
That said, I think Faraday asked that conversation be moved to another forum. If you want to start a thread over there to further delve into this topic, I would be happy to engage further.
