As a disclaimer, this might apply more so to MUSHes or RP-focused spaces with minimal coded systems.
One of my favorite scenes I’ve been in involved a bingo game someone ran. They OOCly sent everyone a bingo website to play along, and offered to run bingo cards for any visually impaired players. Having that layer of not only ‘my character is reacting to their bingo card’ but also ‘I am on the edge of my seat trying to get five in a row’ made it all the better. I love writing, but I also love when I, the player, feel tension, surprise, and stakes (even if those stakes are as small as bingo hah).
That got me thinking-- are there ways to make scenes more interactive on the player level, and how can those ways still be accessible to visually impaired players? I’ve been successful with scavenger hunts and riddles in the past, but wanted to see if anyone else had any fun ideas.
