@Pax Well said. Not least because newbies have to grind a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time to get a halfway decent character (mostly due to the whole clique let’s-all-nom-each-other tactics). This AoA DSS shit is even worse than D20 Star Wars.
Nice to know where Cujo’s priorities lie. Not that it’s exactly news at this point, but at least it’s in text, where new players are sure to see it.
But ‘Abandon all hope, ye who app here’ seems more appropriate.

To take a moment to add a bit more information to this post following a few questions asked…As of now no one has been locked out of, or sitebanned, or asked to leave the game. There have been no bannings up to this point,.
All characters that were moved to the Old Guard Lounge were done so under the belief that they had retired from the game on their own volition, and they are welcomed back at any time and simply have to request a password update. As policy here, Retired accounts are cleaned up, alts are removed to keep the game as clean as possible.Players who do not announce their retirement are cleaned up over time, and are sent to the starting starport on Nar Shaddaa, and generally left on the grid in-case they decide to return later. However, idle players belongings do get cleaned up, starting after 30 days of being away from the game, thus we encourage players who want to retain their items stay actively present on a day to day basis. If you need some time off, please submit a Vacation +request so that the Staff knows that you are going to be away from <date> to <date>, and we know to protect your inventories.
All deleted alts / characters still exist in copies of the game’s database saves, which we routinely keep dating back many years. They can still be retrieved upon requests, if the request is reviewed and approved.But, again, no one has been banned from the game. We have simply pushed cleaning processes along based on the information we were given. Anyone who leaves the game under their own volition, is welcomed back at any time they wish to return, and if not, then we wish them all the best.

Speaking of 15 years in appearance. Cujo is completely okay, on a sex pest and TS-ridden game such as AoA, with allowing underage Characters to exist.
I’ll let your imagination ruminate over that one.
Zephyr was the only one who within recent memory would not stand for such shinanigans and corrected past approved characters who were under the age of 18.

I find it funny that I was kicked off of staff on the 11th, and it was on the 15th that we discovered alts had been deleted and mains couldn’t be logged into. At no point did I say I was leaving to him, or to anyone on staff, and his own mail to me expressed that he hoped I would stay and still play there. At no point did friends of mine, who also had been on within the last 30 days, say they were retiring from the game.
As usual Cujo is making up reasons after the fact because he knows he did something he shouldn’t have and it looks bad.

I’m paraphrasing only slightly the stuff they are actually saying on the public channels.
I haven’t heard anyone say yet that they’re going to fix their problems with harassment, bullying, and toxic dinosaurs. But I’m sure they’ll get to that after they finish building the lightsaber vendor on Endor.

I’m not sure if anything has actually hit the game in terms of consequences, but it looks like 5-10 less chars are connected at most times.
Seems like Cujo is just very much This is done, move on. What consequences could actually be levied, if any? Obviously people are spreading the word. But are there really that many people that don’t know? Like - what’s the mood on the game? I don’t play there, so I don’t know the playerbase’s thoughts.

Can confirm. I had help from friends whoinvited me to build my character, and loan me some half decent gear until I could buy my own. I saw a brand new player show up to one of my early scenes with only the starter gear you could get in chargen. Did not have a single successful attack roll the whole scene. Was never seen again.
