It’s finally happened. I saw somebody sign the thing they did with Rae and bristled like I used to do with Sunny or the version of my actual name that I use. Only took like 2-3 years of using it (I think it happened faster after I actually ditched the Sunny moniker most places tho; people call me Rae a LOT more than they used to, not just on my mmo’s now).

Oh, I should relate this, because it’s funny.

Iole came about because back in the day, it was a big thing to type /target name to target healers in pvp. Most people saw my name as LOLe, so they couldn’t target me that way until they figured it out (which often took longer than a single match, if nobody was around who already knew).
