Okay, I have to admit that log was funnier back before so much of the crap he pulled was codified. His whole proto-“facts don’t care about your feelings but care very much about mine” shtick; the insistence that you prove to him he behaved badly but also he’s the only one with authority to make that determination.
I hope if he’s still alive, he remembers this exchange and cringes.

@foksthery Stubborn pride is usually my take on that. The sort of person that would cut off their nose to spite their face. And the general vibe of ‘rules for thee, not for me’
