@Snackness Not an OC but just floating that I think you’d play a real good Briseis. I guess she’s not technically on the roster right now but the last player hasn’t connected since March so I’m sure staff would put her back up. JUST SAYING.

@Snackness If you are considering an OC @Jennkryst and I are talking making a pair for Malvici family. If you want to group up with us and decide against suggested ideas. I’m not concerned about you dropping off or whatever. 90% of the time I’m a ‘do what you want’ girl.

@Snackness I always want more cool people in the King’s Own but the meaningfulness of it is kinda what you make of it, in my experience.

              as previously stated, good day.

@icanbeyourmuse The REAL question is if they will approve of my Darth Sideous Hedonismbot lewd Femme Himbo, or ban me on the spot.

They can’t ban all of us!

No seriously, with OC’s open I will try and come up with something. I’ll give it some thought and hopefully get something put in before it closes.

I know nothing about nothing. I want to play a thinker, not a fighter, who is a planner and tactical over ‘I whip out my <e-peen weapon of choice>’ Preferably someone who isn’t a commoner, cuz, I am inequal enough RL TYVM.

Not sure where that fits in with what y’all are planning…

Except I don’t want to be related to Jennkryst cuz that’s shutting a door I may not want closed! Or she may not! Or whoever may not! I refuse to be shamed!

@Mourne My OCs have all been commoners and it’s great, the power dynamics are definitely -different-, there are ways to equalize the playing field, or to shift the perspective so you see it’s that way, but I do understand that it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

Good luck on your character creation! I’m looking forward to seeing what people put in.

@Mourne We can totally work things out to make whatever work. I don’t think either of us are going to be overly concerned about modifying stuff. ATM, the plan is we’re both nobles who could potentially be married.

A huge thank you to the GMs who helped me with today’s event as well as all the player’s that had taken part.

Especially one who had lost their character. You accepted the result with a lot of grace and I am really happy that you were satisfied (I think) with the way it was handled. Your character is a total badass.

Side note: I think I just made my NPC a hate sink rofl.

@Smile I really had a lot of fun GMing with you!

Things I did not quite expect and found amusing, that a random black-haired woman with pinned up braids and blue eyes would get so many people interested in killing her! Oh, the plans I had for her after naming her when I thought she’d get away with things.

It was fun. It was emotional. It was powerful.

PS: Evalina might just have family. They might have feelings. We’ll see.

Someone just took a character off the roster that mine had a same sex, committed romantic relationship with. I do not want this person to feel like they have to at all continue that, or even speak of it, or have the character be the same orientation as previous.

How do I phrase this so that I don’t sound like an awkward creeper? I don’t want to make things weird and uncomfortable in my attempt not to be weird and uncomfortable.

I often point this out to new players:

                                            https://play.arxgame.org/topics/Relationship Continuity/

They may have journals that relationship, or not. It’s always been a toss-up for me whether to reach out or just see if the previous player made mention enough that the new one reached out to me. Either way, I usually end up saying something like, hey, our characters had this history, but there’s no obligation or expectation to continue that. It’s maybe hard not to feel a bit awkward but I try to politely mention it most times.

                                            she/her, them/they - not super particular

I have been here the whole time
