They don’t have one, to try and keep this sort of drama from happening. It worked for a while but then this kid just couldn’t resist kicking over a sandcastle.

The implication here seems to be I engaged in malicious compliance. But there was no way of extricating myself without some form of downtime, due to how hosting works.

You shut it down in the middle of a conversation where you attempting to gaslight Public was being cleared up and addressed. There’s a huge difference between an hour of planned downtime and what you did.
But please keep posting through it. This is fantastic.

@SpaceKhomeini Go big enough to be annoying but not get sued? Depending on what someone does, it can have very serious, and expensive, legal repercussions. With back-ups and cloud these days its hard to really do much damage other than causing outages and delays. Though, depending on your business that can get expensive fast if a web site is down for even a few hours.

@Hinotori We don’t have any official Discord. I’m hanging out here, and will post more meaningful updates when we have them. We still don’t have a timeframe for when the game will be up and running, but I promise to pop in here and let folks know when we do.

Yep, sure was. Maybe people won’t do that again, it’s not like there isn’t copious evidence of what comes of doing that.

Also, it sounds like something led to this that isn’t being talked about. The catalyst that made Sundance want to gently let Polk go to be a player without being involved as staff.

It took me a bit to figure out exactly what was physically done here upon reading this thread – Polk’s sort of assuring everyone that his stake in this ensures he’s 100% redundant, but that doesn’t seem to be the case?

And nobody can reach Ambrosia.
So Phan asked Sundance to let me help him set up on Digital Ocean. So I’m pulling my own backups and helping him.
