From what I can see on my own phone, the. Menus are supposed to slide in from the side.

I’ve had this issue off-and-on and it’s been fixed by me refreshing the page. (ETA: using firefox on android)

I attempted to edit my playlist post and received an error message that editing my post was not allowed after 3600 seconds had passed.
Default setting left unchanged? Intended setting? ???

@Tributary is reporting a repeated issue with this error:
MIGHT be just her, but might also check the config stuff as described here and here.

@tieflinguist Probably bc you haven’t put in an email so you can’t have your account confirmed. I’ll look at it.

@tieflinguist It was NOT bc of the registration issue; it was because you were a new user and didn’t have THE REP for it. It should be fixed now. pls let me know.

@Roz This is not the issue, but you can still have beans. It is set up correctly per the links.

Nothing obvious is sticking out for Trib, so I rebuilt / restarted.
IN OTHER NEWS, verification (and any other) emails should be going out properly now.

When I click the button with the notification, it should give me a menu, but nothing happens.
I am using Chrome on my iPhone.
Which takes massive screenshots. Sorry.

@Tez Guess what? Seems to work fine on mobile. Will check desktop tomorrow.

@Tez yes, it works on the default skin. Using that for now. If anyone finds time to fix it on the slate skin, I think that’s the most commonly used “dark” skin.

@KarmaBum FWIW, Superhero is a dark skin and the menus are working at the moment!

@KarmaBum Actually a quick Google just suggests changing the skin and then changing it back, so you might try that!

@Roz No such luck, but thanks for the suggestion. Superhero skin has the same issue.

It is, and I adopted it after seeing you mentioned it, but a word of warning to the unwary:
it’s fucking uglyGRAY and ORANGE omg

I’m gonna be real with you this is totally beyond my ability. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS AN APPEAL TO THE COMMUNITY: does anyone know a gosh darn thing about fixing this?

I was going to say I haven’t had any issues with Darkly, but I don’t seem to have issues no matter what I switch to. The closest I got was logging out and immediately trying to click a menu, but it was resolved by refreshing.
It appears to be a known bug, though, and might have to do with plugins. The only ‘fixes’ I’ve seen suggested are switching between themes, pinpointing a potential plugin issue, and rebuilding.
Which is to say, I’m not sure anyone actually knows how to fix it.
