So are all the spheres equally active, or are some more active than others?

@MisterBoring By census we have a pretty even division. I’d say we’re almost more active during work day hours, and then pick up again from about 7-11p EST. I was digging into getting vamp mischief going when I got this stupid cold. Charon and I (Lilith) run a bunch of plot, and the other staff come in and run stuff when rl lets them breathe (Impergium has a doozy of a plot planned for Wolf when his work lets up a bit, for example). Changeling staff has more PST type hours, swinging through to ST regularly from about 8:30p til 11/11:30 or so. She has two different plots going, and is working on a way to include our UK 'lings with a play-by-post/email accommodation. I try to run a mix of different types of scenes, as does Charon, from personal one-on-one scenes to ‘any splat welcome’.
Activity-wise, there’s been a pretty steady 2-3 public scenes happening the last week - we’ve hit that tipping point where we’re not leading the charge so much as there’s enough story built up and connections made to start really self-sustaining. I think vamp might be the lower activity of the spheres, just because they seem to have more scattered online times than ling and wolf do. And even our M/M+ are pretty active and digging into plot and getting cool scars.
Are you looking for a particular flavor of play? We’ve got the territory system mini-game, the coins and the resources you can trade, and some pretty big plot balls slowly rolling about to spool smaller plots off of. There’s a lot of layers of nuance, and I am happy to try and help anyone get a handle on it.

@Jennkryst Probably not. I’ve never read any of the Mummy variants, and I find the hard part of ‘I want to play X’ is no one wants to Staff X, cause they want to play it. That, and we’ve only been open for 2 months and are hammering out things. Adding another sphere this early in just wouldn’t work - no time until the giant to-do list get beaten into submission.

I don’t think so, I just logged on with a guest bit and it is empty. I made the mistake of doing a quick +bbnew and there is an ad up for what looks like an underage sex mush, so I can only assume it is going unmonitored.

@Pacha Yeah, someone made the rounds to advertise for that a while back, and everywhere that was active jumped on it to delete the ad and ban the IP address. So it sounds like City of Shadows has been dead for a while.

Where is the ad exactly? The bb looks to be bone-dry to me and that’s a guest account login. Feel free to show that refuting screencap, though.

@OnceWas It was present at 10:00am EST today. As I said, someone has since gone in and wiped the entire board as there was more than just this advertisement in there.

I know the headwiz is on here so they may have very well just seen someone mention it and gone “ew gross” and hopped on just to clear it off.
