JKER Banned Discussion Thread

I don’t feel quite right about saying this but I also don’t feel quite right about not saying it, so brace yourselves for a hopefully short derail.
A few hours ago, JKER DMed me out of the blue, just a naked link to an old MSB thread. I asked what they were sending me that for; they replied that it would prove IoleRae is a bad person but also I shouldn’t talk to JKER any more because neither of us would enjoy it. I really got my dander up at being made party to that kind of backstabbing and rumor-spreading, so I spoke to IoleRae about it, then to staff, which I only mention because I don’t want anyone thinking I’m going rogue by airing this laundry. What I am doing is asking if this has happened to anyone else, and encouraging you to speak to a mod if it has.

In the interest of full transparency, I am the one who was not sure that his behavior yet rose to the standard we set of ‘repeated, egregious crossing of asshole/troll line’ in our guidelines, which is why I suggested that GF be the one to post – and GF did so before the other two weighed in. They may have felt otherwise.
This did not factor into my calculation but also JKER’s example was terrible? IoleRae was nothing but compassionate and sensible in the thread they linked? I wish all of my enemies only had good things to say about me.

@GF I will take part of the blame for pointing out that MSB was dead for like two weeks, and maybe summoned somebody upset by that fact and NEEDED to come stir shit. My bad.

I don’t understand. How is that NOT creepy-ass behavior?
Someone cold DMs someone here about how IoleRae is a bad person, after them kind of really sharply reacting to her in the first place in the thread more strongly than anyone else replying, linking to MSB about a thread they claim she’s being a bad person in?
I’m sorry, but that’s just gross. And she’s already had to deal with a weirdo trying to poke at her here pretty publicly early on.
It’s true that IR is a friend, but as someone who was only kind of skimming I was like wow this dude has it out for her for some weird reason. A DM like that to a 3rd party is not a good sign.

It’s being a creepy asshole, sure. We’re restricted from acting unless it’s:
Repeated and egregious crossing of the asshole/troll line such that it makes the board an unpleasant place to be.
That’s why we want to know if others have experienced the same thing.
