Gonna make it surgeries later.

They thought it was Staph it was Strep A Necrotic Fasciitis. I was doing evacuations and a power chair user was partially under water and they didn’t know how to free his chair restraints. I went in to help and felt a light scratch on my buttocks while I was getting his lap belt undone (typically we stay in our vans but I volunteered on this).

Went to the trailer to shower and it hurt there. The night was chills and fever and it got to be a baseball size lump under my buttock.

Went to the ER to lance it and got it drained they gave me bactrum for Staph.

Two days later of fever and chills had one of my employees drove me home to Texas for a better hospital and went to emergency surgery as it was near my rectum and the tunneling.

Two surgeries later I have a huge open wound no flesh but the wound culture came back with what to target and that worked. Had it got to my rectum my mortality chances would have gone up huge.

Now six weeks or so of healing these open chasms and praying it doesn’t come back or get infected. Should be okay (alive). But given the location and severity bed ridden a long time.

I am in the hospital. This is one of the few times fever has cleared and I haven’t been with family or friends. Evacuating a flooded facility from the hurricane I became extremely sick sick. Rapidly started losing flesh on my buttocks toward my anus. It got worse and fast. Have an eighty percent chance but you never know I am diabetic and have other factors against me but much love and support.

Just in case I adore many of you I met here. Loved a few (you know who you are) and don’t regret many years spent in the hobby.

I use square for my invoices and rental agreements now. It makes life easier.

Unfortunately there is no rental plugin that I have seen. With rentals you have to do a calendar function. Where I can rent at two pm and for one day and it locks the vehicle out until two the next day from availability. That rate is a daily rate. Then incorporate weekly rates, monthly rates etc. and adjust the cost and calendar tied to it accordingly with reservations.

I have fifty wheelchair vans across five cities and soon to be six. Most the retail site platforms are not set up for rental situations.

So I have tried myself a bunch and I’m just not good at it.

Looking to pay/hire someone to develop a website for my business. I struggle with even the wix builder I used.

Likely will shift to the url which matches our phone number 877-WE-ROLL-U to www.werollyou.com for our domain with the build. What I’m lacking is the ability (well to creatively design a site in general) to do online rentals of our wheelchair vans where someone can book, and I can manage the inventory of such. We lose a few customers this way but really, I would love just taking off work stress from me as I’m working seven days a week answering phones, running the business, etc. I used to do a form, and it was fine. But there are ways it looks like people can do the whole transaction and rental agreements (contracts) etc.

But I’d love to process it through the site. I’m doing a test on Booqable but I am terrible at it. And I see wordpress has rental plug ins and templates that can be used too.

Happy to pay for the work of course but figured I’d offer it to this loose community I know before finding total complete strangers for it.

So, in the last couple of months I got to witness closing arguments in the NYC of Trump. My son and I went on an epic near 30-day road trip and visiting seven of the ten greatest national parks (Rocky Mountain, Tetons, Yellowstone, Sequoia, Yosemite, Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon). Been an amazing journey.

But today in the line to get my box of bagels the cashier looked over to me and gave me a senior citizen discount, she let me know and I was horrified – I am 44.

So I went white early (late 30’s) and I can’t not sport a beard. I’m bald and keep my head shaved.

Should I dye the beard back red to its natural color? Or is that just a horrible decision for men?

I just picked up and iPad Pro on a recommendation of the speech to text performance and will give it a shot.

Not a peeve I guess.

My hands are killing me from my earlier years breaking them in MMA overseas. I have a hard and slow time typing. Does anyone pose through speech to text? If so, what device? And it is it too much of a pain?

I guess my peeve is at me for taking too long to type too large poses. Although thank goodness for ASYNC.

Tornado hit my house Tuesday. Six trees down, one on my house, and the power pole snapped in two and the live wires killed two massive trees worth of birds and squirrels. No one was injured, the one child home was fine, my mechanic was at the house and acted: great man.

I had the greatest day Tuesday. I happened to get the news of the third tornado to damage my life in three years during the first break of the trial in NYC. They led me to a side room to check my phone. I have insurance and won’t have a home a couple of months again. The real life happy is that I spent the day inside the courtroom for closing arguments of one of the most significant trials in American history.

My money was always on Larry Nassar but then he went to prison. I’m fresh out of Jill the guest theories. Glad that guy got shanked and air holed a bunch though.

One of those mysteries that means very little that we will never have the satisfaction of solving will be the niche Jill the Guest mystery.

Abbas was touched or marked or something by Despair. Right before he died he was about to take over House Ischia/Seraceni and had sacrificed a ship full of prisoners stranding them out in the ocean. He died before that occurred, but I did get to add a House to the game which was cool.

Ahriman was in a body timeshare with a demon.

Gunther was a Dwarf in a past life, I think? I actually wish I would have gone after his secrets and uncovered more about him. Such a great bit.

I’m sorry. The world is not right and that’s not something our children should have to deal with.

I was shot taking my son to a playoff basketball game a couple of years ago by a rival team’s fan for wearing the wrong team jersey in Denver. My world turned upside down and I quit gaming and all interactions while I processed, and it led to positive life changes and new horizons for me. My autistic son however came through without issues from it. I couldn’t fathom why it didn’t harm him. Kids are stronger than we give them credit for.

It’s shocking to us and tragic. But it’s their world. He had already had shooter drills. Got the same level of training you described. I think it prepared him way better for that reality than me. I still have nightmares from it, and he was way more prepared. That’s tragic.

I’m sorry for your pain in this. It sucks. Wish the world was a better place.

We’ve had three lockdowns this year alone at my youngest (11 about to be 12) school.

Depends on the circumstances? No, I don’t always agree with IC consequences when they aren’t in line with rules from IC characters. Mostly, I’ve not had problems with IC to IC interactions and consequences.

Not saying my perception about myself isn’t wrong. It may be. And I’m open to adjusting.

I should probably clarify. I accept staff rulings when consequences are sorted out.

I’ve griped or complained about about IC to IC things I didn’t find reasonable and let staff work out the details. But that is why you have staff right? As a vehicle to resolution?

I had multiple PCs die without complaint on the Reach (in fact I was the first PC death there under Atlantis on a dice role).

I never argued with staff much about it. I don’t necessarily agree with character driven consequences. I did complain about players who couldn’t separate IC and OOC.

I’m assuming it’s an Abbas related thing?

Yuck. Nope. Games should be banned from even being hosted for considering underaged characters.

It’s not a debate. Not a red flag. It’s just wrong.

The sooner we don’t compromise on that the better.
