Running… okay sneaking around a grid furiously looking for some shop, any shop, that has something appropriate to add to my new PC’s wardrobe that I don’t have to figure out the crafting and coloring systems of an unfamiliar game to make and zooming by someone who was AFK but kind enough to ping me apologizing for being AFK then finding out they’re open to my stupid questions about basic mechanics AND they give me a short scene.

Seeing a player on your game grab theme by the horns, have an idea and run with it.

There was a player on Seven Nations that approached staff wanting to run a three part plot. We had a talk about what they wanted to do, gave a synopsis of their plan for staff to read over and give feedback.

Staff gave their stamp on it, and it went off great without a hitch. It was great because, A: I can only run plot events on weekends due to my work schedule, so having something running on a weekday was great. And B: Everyone loved it.

That player really stepped up and thanked us for allowing him to spread his wings in running a plot that he felt safe to do so. I think he did great and I think he should do so whenever he feels like it. Also tossed him a couple of Luck points(SN is run in Ares) for a good job done.

It’s really nice to see players really feel encouraged to run their own stuff. That was half the reason why I created the game.

@Tez Once when I was camping on the beach there, I was walking back from the bathroom in the middle of the night and it was real dark and suddenly there was a pony three feet from my face and it was surprisingly terrifying. Ponies are still large, it turns out. Anyway the pony just kept eating grass and ignoring me as I ooched past.

                                as previously stated, good day.

@farfalla Kind of wish I could go see the place in real life. Chincoteague’s facebook groups have become my daytime TV. People track the ponies, they know their names, their histories. It’s hilarious and adorable.

… In real life, though, I’ve only got my own two ponies. One’s an 1800 pounds jutland draft and the other’s a feral much like the Chincoteague ponies.

@farfalla I was walking down a path to a little beach with my husband (@tsar of course) and one of them just stepped onto the path in front of me. We just froze until it moved on!

This is where I ask for a picture to identify your ponies. Because seriously, they spend a lot of time in those groups doing exactly that. Also, the most famous stallion is currently injured and resting it up in the park on Chincoteague and and

… anyhow, yeah. What’s got me down a bit has nothing to do with this particular game. More a bleh in general at how there’s always one or two people in the hobby who seem to spread meh wherever they look.
