@somasatori Can’t wait to see The Reach and Fallcoast go at it. Miami being stuck in CG never finishing…
What are you doing, stepMU*?

@OnceWas The question would be what would a personification of a mush look like?
Would a Star Wars mu be some dude in a terry cloth robe, some docker’s with a fx saber making sound effects?
A vampire mu would be some lady that raided a Spirit Halloween Store and a Hot Topic?

Mr. E. Musk.

My vote is someone who is badly cosplaying as a lesser character from the original saga, with a Spencers Gifts mask, dressed in handmade “Jedi robes” which look a lot like badly-dyed hotel-style terrycloth beach towels in a vague outline.
A vampire mu would be some lady that raided a Spirit Halloween Store and a Hot Topic?
It’s a guy with a mall wakizashi, his elder brother’s castoff trenchcoat one size either too big or too small, and faux-Lennon sunglasses with a red tint, trying to use a “demonic” voice to pick up girls.

Yeah, we’ve all met Josh the Obtenebrous.

@somasatori Not the Paul Chen katanas?! Those crit on 7s and do triple damage.
Once had a friend that was obsessed with mall swords. He had a Umbrella holder full.
He went to the mall with another buddy one time, and after ten minutes of salesman Bs about how some guy named Paul Chen was the second coming of one of ancient Japanese sword masters. He had to have a Paul Chen Katana for the low low price of $250.00. Then wouldn’t shut up about it. Never heard about Mr. Chen again from another source.
Note: I am no sword except. If Mr. Chen is everything the salesman says. I am sorry.
*Edited to spell Chen properly. I’m a Jackass but try not to be

You might mean Paul Chen, who is a rather well-known name in the sword-collecting community. Expensive, too.
-
@Pavel You’re shitting me right?

Seemingly not. It’s entirely likely that the salesman was fabricating that particular sword’s provenance, however.
-
@Pavel Oh yeah for sure. Lol so that just slightly changes how that story goes

On the topic of wrongfun:
Oof. Today, on my way out of Liberation, ran across a true gem of a mammal, and they were very much clear on how all of the player base were having the wrong kind of fun and that they alone merited the use of a specific out-of-use book to generate their character, because reading posted help files am difficult, apparently. Can’t say I’m not excited to see them flare out dramatically when the game refuses to kneel to their higher wisdom, as it’s cheaper than cable TV and less fattening than donuts.
-
@OnceWas This will be a fun read when I get home. Was the WrongFun book the one with Mummies, Wyrmies, Nephandies, or some other mystery book?
-
@Jennkryst No, it seemed to be a catch-all collective about how Liberation is running the game wrong, I presume. The log of the convo is available on request via DM. Maybe not my best work, although I have no worries about it.
-
@OnceWas Of course they’re running it wrong. Anywhere that refuses to let me play the very niche antagonistic spheres I want to play is running it wrong. They should work on that.

Arise chicken, etc, etc.
It seems that, of late, the game’s website has been under some kind of DDOS attack (according to bbposts to that effect). So if you’ve tried looking at the site and it hasn’t loaded that’s likely the cause.
-
I know people DDOS websites for incredibly stupid grudges (I remember an internet reviewer whose site got attacked for not giving a video game a high enough score), so I wonder what imagined or real slight the attacker has against the game.

I have my own suspicions on who it would be, but I don’t have the facts and I’m not going to accuse someone of a crime simply because I think th
