Neon Protocol

Double post
I just checked out the Roster list. Out of the 14 PCs available, only 5 are female and one of those 5 is an old woman that is sure not to be a threat to any potential quest to collect all the peen on the game.

I’m so glad I never knew who Haruka wanted to fuck, and I’m even more glad it was never my character. IYKYK.

I didn’t see this before posting. Now I’m 99% sure it’s her.
I’m almost positive it’s not the same person.

This doesn’t surprise me. From the couple of people I spoke to who app’d female characters, they waited significantly longer than other people to be approved.
The staff at Neon Protocol is likely the same person that ran The Becoming. I don’t believe that is the same person as jujube/inuki/etc.

Oh. Hard Pass. Hard pass on all their games. Not shocked by this thread now.

@RightMeow spill the tea

You already know the tea. It’s just the absolute control she had to have over every character action. Women characters were held to a far higher standard. She’d nitpick decisions, make scenes to just lecture, etc.
Rinse. Repeat.
I’m sure they are a good person, but the way they admin left a sour taste in my mouth.

I can certainly believe that as well. Like I originally said, there’s plenty of crazies out there.
ETA For those of us not in the know who is Haruki and what is The Becoming and are they related at all.
-
@catzilla the becoming was a Lord and Ladies steampunk game that was on Ares for awhile. The premise was great.
-
@catzilla The relationship is that I experienced a wave of traumatic memories at the sameness of behavior from the player of Haruka on Liberation when the behaviors of the above troublemaker in this thread were described, so much as to feel like it’s the same person when it was quite likey not.
The commentary I’m making is that there are far too many people with that behavior pattern in this community.
The follow-on is that for as traumatized as I have been by the experience, I am thankful it was not worse, as it demonstrably could have been.
