@Lucidmoon She also played the initial Betsy Braddock on Heroes Assembled and she became enraged because Alex Summers wouldn’t sleep with her. Then she tried to bang my character and I was like thanks but no thanks and then she never spoke with me again.

@KarmaBum Macha used to be handled on Ares yes. I thought I remembered somebody mentioning a Betsy though. There is a CinnamonGirl who’s only character is Betsy from an Infinite Adventures.

I didn’t have direct experience there, but I have heard from more than one person that she was apparently the gamerunner of Marvel 80s. Not sure if anyone else has more detail there.

I feel like one of her most defining traits is the way she talks about her OOC life. She could very legit have all the issues she talks about, but the way she phrases it is very much in a way that digs for sympathy and pity from others. She emphasizes her disabilities as reasons why people, especially those in authority, are out to get her.

I don’t know the player and don’t think that I’ve run into them, but in the logs posted, I saw a lot of future-tense posing: “the character will do this” or “the character would do this.” I don’t know if it’s a player thing, a character thing, or something else entirely.

@Roadspike It was SOP for her. It was part of why I felt sure that it was her when Cobalt posted the log, before I even read the confirmation. I remember her doing it a lot. Now my memory could be fuzzy since … jesus 2011 is when Roz says this was, I feel tired just thinkinga bout how long ago that was…

@Testament I’ve heard things thirdhand. And from what I’ve heard she is even more toxic first-person than she is in the game world. Without an ability to take personal responsibility and surrounding herself with enablers.
I might be paraphrasing a smidge. But not a lot.

I have no good feelings for Macha and everything possible to be able to identify her should be shared, but I do think that speculation as to whether or not she’s as disabled or sick as she says she is should probably just not happen.

@IoleRae If you’ve ever come across someone that cannot take any personal responsibility for something. ‘I got banned because someone reported me’ not ‘I did something stupid and got banned’ for example. It’s about a mindset of not being able to take personal responsibility. That’s what I’m referring to. And she’s surrounded herself with people who enable that behavior.
Oh, it couldn’t be your fault. There’s something wrong with those other people!
That kind of thing.

Yeah, I get it, and I’ve dealt with her specifically. I wasn’t accusing you (or anyone else) of anything. There’s been ‘if’ language in relation to her disability, and I was suggesting that we not speculate.

I haven’t had much contact with her directly, but her constant RL overshares are one of the most awkward and uncomfortable and unavoidable things about being in the same play space as her.

Her having/not having a disability is irrelevant. However, her discussing having a disability as a reason why people are out to get her IS one way to tell her from the masses.
