My new peeve: buying a fancy new mechanical keyboard with nice clicky keys and not having the free time or energy to actually sit down and put it through it’s paces on a MU.

@Tez I got a Keychron C2 with brown switches. My old keyboard died when I was rearranging my office and I accidentally dropped my paperweight on it. If I had the money, I probably would have gone for something slightly more pricey, but the C2 will work for now. If I had the money, I might have gone for the Q6 or maybe a Unicomp New Model M.

@MisterBoring I have brown switches on my split keyboard that I use every day but my faaaavorite switches are the extremely clicky ones. Like. Extremely. Very. Click clack. These are easier on my hands though.

Guest (G1) pages: I think my most awkward RL experience was getting check ups from a doctor in my high school as part of the tryout for joining sports

I think I might’ve recently RPed with Jill on a game that has very limited/no OOC? Does she do that? Because I’ve never met her in the classic Guest sense, but I recently had a very weird scene, between two female characters, where that sort of exchange took place IC before I got weirded out and bailed.

@Kestrel It’s always been my understanding that Jill never gets to the point of having an actual character anywhere, just making strange conversation OOC as a guest bit and then dipping. I might be wrong though.

We only really know how Jill behaves on MUSH game channels/pages. It’s entirely possible they do their schtick in RPI environments that never register here.

That said, the Legend of Jill has been around long enough and widely circulated enough that I assume there are a lot of Jill copycats. Legacy, etc.
