@CuriousGamer Shockingly, it is possible for multiple people to behave badly at the same time! Who knew. Two people behaved badly, and two people ended up banned from a game.
Might be more apt for this thread, though.

Yeah, the thing that these people don’t seem to understand is that it doesn’t matter who you are doing it to, but what you are doing.
It is actually pretty regularly occurring that people will be particularly toxic to people that are already toxic themselves, or ill-liked in the community for their own behaviors, etc.

I think it’s pretty telling when people make this assumption that only ‘perfect’ people can be victims. Being a victim doesn’t mean you cannot be an abuser. Being an abuser doesn’t mean you can’t be a victim.

@bear_necessities oh! Is that what they are blowing up my discord about? I wasn’t planning on getting back on forums today but I was getting my discord blown up but my messages in response wouldn’t go through and I was so confused because they are asking me to set record straights and I’m like ??? No one is saying anything about you on MSB? They’re busy saying I over reacted and wanted to have Isaac all to my own character.

That kind of crazy “set the record straight” demands are very much up their alley, too, because they know that if they come to defend themselves they’ll have to confront other people they’ve done fucked up shit to.

Don’t feel like you have to do anything. On MSB there’s some random-ass theory that you wanted Isaack’s player and that’s why you banned Macha. It’s some pretty wild and stupid stuff.
You made a choice. And honestly, it’s the right choice. Because you made it, it was the right choice for you.
There’s a difference in doing something bad or dumb, and taking ownership of it. Then there’s it’s not my fault! Macha is in the refusal of ownership crowd, and apparently so is Hella/Monique. They were persecuted. They don’t take personal responsibility.
You don’t owe anyone anything. Nor anyone explanations. It’s all just random spin-city on MSB.
You came to the community about sharing a bad actor for the community. Thank you for that.

@TNP honestly she’s been keeping it limping along with her constant posts of woe, and how they repay her is…mostly ignoring and talking over her in a thread when the opportunity comes up to bash another woman for ?? (some things they think could happen, they saw it in a movie once, idfk).
It’s kind of sad? So much for building a ‘community’ there.

I was going to say, oh my god, the people who have an incredibly awful track record around victim-blaming actual real life victims of SA are…denying it’s SA and saying Cobalt must just be jealous. It’s incredibly on-brand for them in the most pathetic way possible, and I agree, it is genuinely sad to see.
