Okay. It’s been too quiet, and somebody messaged me on Discord wanting something dramatic to read. (ilu @Rucket) So here we are, in no particular order, dramatic things to read:

@Rucket wants to know why there are no ads on the site. I’m sure @Tez has plenty of explanations of why we can enjoy an ad-free experience, using all the MU* cliches you see from prickly staff that don’t want to be bothered with this subject when giving said explanation (like, you can hear the sighing while reading the response).

@Meg has been way too quiet. HAS SHE STARTED RP’ING AGAIN BEHIND OUR BACKS??? News at 11 in some tabloid somewhere written by ChatGPT.

And lastly, I totally think we should have a BMD get-together in the form of playing Dale & Dawson Stationary Supplies. If that doesn’t create entertaining drama, I don’t know what will, short of us murdering each other and throwing blame around in Among Us or something.

I ran out of ideas. Bye.

I actually do have some inside baseball on this from back when I was helping out around here: Even the kinds of companies that advertise with Google AdSense don’t want anything to do with the crap we post about.

Speaking of, OPP is kickstarting their own knockoff Legally Distinct Version of WoD. Given how slow their projects tend to run, it’ll be 2026 before the hardcopies are mailed out, but it is definitely a thing!

So despite knowing better, I still glance in on the Soapbox every now and then. Three months.

It took three months for a bot ban and people finding out about Curseborne/WoD 3.875, to breath the smollest bit of life back into the Soapbox. Pretty dead before that, too.

And that was what I was vaguebooking about, because I knew the moment I pointed it out, lurkers would spring to activity just to prove that they didn’t kill the community, doing a Weekend at Bernie’s to prove the corpse is still alive, actually.

Anyways, have that small bit of funny during these trying times.
