      @catzilla Ah. Well, for what it’s worth, I think it’s totally doable. I think for Star Wars, it might even be beneficial, since most RPG/mechanical systems struggle to balance force users and non-force users.

        This Star Wars game is also run by the person that runs the current game called Age of Heroes - the one that jacked all that code.

          @Prototart

          So, given yhat time advances on UH and HAM, two of them used to be teens.

          No, that was their starting ages on those games. There was no teen Rogue with bondage powers, you’ve just been misinformed.

          I might be off on 7, but it was definitely more than one.

          You can go to the website, look at the revision history for the sheet. Dropped on 22 may 2022, next approval was 25th may 2023. 1 year and 3 days, during a time where as you observed, characters weren’t being approved much – and even Batman was unplayed for 7 months. You were misinformed again. Maybe you should put less trust into the gossip you’re getting.

            Rogue with bondage powers

            I think you keep confusing what people mean by this. Everyone agrees skin-to-skin contact with Rogue will drain powers. Its just the solution is always ‘put Rogue in a full body bondage-esque catsuit so there’s never skin to be touched’.

              Few ever thinks to just put a restraining collar on her during day to day slice of life scenes. Like someone couldn’t make one aesthetically pleasing, or waterproof. People remembering that not only is she able to control her powers, but she isn’t even getting her flying brick power set from Carol Danvers any more either. Going with that is a breath of fresh air.

                Well, yeah. You don’t have Danger Bondage Sexy Times if you do it that way!

                  @Jennkryst I was being silly with the bondage powers thing.

                  Out of curiosity, how does this bondage-esque catsuit differ from the catsuit she wears in the comics? Or is this just a dislike of the character?

                    @Colette I am pro-Rogue, pro-bondage, pro-catsuit, and pro-sexy-times.

                    @Prototart was pointing out Rouge-players have traditionally used her powers as an excuse to hyperfixate on fetish/bondage RP that ‘tee-hee, kinky and saves people from dying while touching her’, and occasionally drift into a barely-legal area.

                    You mistook this to mean these players were giving her Bondage powers.

                    Also, the difference is spandex vs latex, obvs.

                      Prototart talked about ‘bondage scenarios’. I flipped that into ‘bondage powers’ because I was being silly and flippant. I mean come on. Superhero with bondage powers. That would be amazing.

                      Oh wait. That’s Wonder Woman. I forgot.

                      Right, gotcha, gotcha. I do see the player in question once had Rogue wearing latex gloves while doing some lab work, does that count? It feels disappointingly unbondage-y and scandalous.

                        I was present for all of this shit. Even as fucked as my memory can be, I trust it way more than I trust someone who’s told a bunch of lies that are laughably transparent to anyone who ever had the misfortune of dealing with staff on UH or HA.

                        I was super off on 7 years, tho. Chalk it up to sleeping four hours across three days. Going off the logs I can find, looks like it was closer to 3.

                        PS for the record and since someone asked me, the person who uses the handle @Ruby on Ares is emphatically not the Ruby that I have referenced. Ares Ruby is charming, while UH Ruby (common characters: Rogue, Lara Croft, Wonder Woman) is a mendacious cretin who spent years viciously attacking any woman who tried to speak out against the predators she attached herself to.

                        PPS, yes, I wish MSB still existed as an archive, the behavior of basically everyone involved was on full display.
