Yes. It has been established explicitly that they are not. That does not in any way, shape, or form mean that the accusation wasn’t made, or that it removes the right of that person to talk about it.
Please recall how furious and upset I was about the lies being spread about me by a certain bad actor, and how THOROUGHLY everybody stood up for me, and those lies NEVER GOT POSTED PUBLICLY.
These lies did.
I don’t like Lithium. I had one encounter that went very poorly and I am very glad they stay far away from me, but this is RIDICULOLUS.

@Tez well, I remember one time that runescryer invited me to post more about addressing problems of MSB, and then in the middle of that conversation that I had already tried to bow out of, then posted an anonymous DM he ‘received’ accusing me, GF, and Selira of being bullies.
And now I am reading a DM on MSB where he is absolutely bullying someone about a throw away comment made in a log of a private scene.

@Coin Pattern Recognition is kind of speculation. I don’t need to know that the 18-wheeler a few cars ahead of me slamming on it’s brakes is going to crash before swerving to avoid something that might not happen.
And, yes. It’s because it was speculation that I didn’t mention names or locations as of yet. I was giving a general warning, specifically for a possible DWOPP return, but also as a general ‘watch your games because we’ve got an active creeper’. ZG stepped forward with the identity of the game; Lithium outed themselves when nobody was directly accusing him. I feel confident in trying to maintain as much annominity of those involved as possible. If Lithium hadn’t made his public protest, I would have accepted the results of ZG’s investigation and said “The person in question isn’t DWOPP, but is still showing signs of toxic behavior,” and kept the general warning.

I also dislike Lithium and all of my memories of my experiences with them are bad and I think it’s fine to defend themselves from being compared with DWOPP.
And I also read the pages and I don’t think Warren comes off as the asshole in that convo at all. And I was very prepared to believe they would, because I remember the bone-deep relief I felt when Lithium was banned from Arx (sorry, Arx out of season, I accept the penalty).
I also think it’s not a good look to decide to publicly compare someone you’re in an OOC/IC tiff with to DWOPP.
But I remain firm in my original belief that more gamerunners should look at drama between multiple players that they don’t wanna deal with and just go “bye” like this.

I just wanted everyone to be on the lookout for DWOPP. Because if he’s not playing now (and I would bet that he is), he will be.
That’s still what I want.
And since I am reverting to my Hog Pit behavior of making graphics that only I think are funny, I think it’s time for me to ignore this thread.

In the future, unless and until one actually has the facts to support one’s arguments, don’t accuse someone of being such a vigorously hated figure. @Snackness isn’t at fault, in my view, as they were simply passing the message along.
Accusing someone of being such a predator is worthy of a little extra pause before you lay down the name. Issue a warning about a creeper, by all means, but don’t instantly assume creeper=this specific predator if you don’t have any supporting evidence.
It’s basic sense, and you’re all supposed to be adults.

I agree with this. I suppose where I’m disconnected from you is, I do not think Lithium is DWOPP or that anyone should think he is. I consider that matter settled, to a degree that it kind of confuses me anyone could still think that’s the issue at play here rather than how he has treated multiple people (I thought I only knew four, but more have come out of the woodwork to tell me their stories in the last few hours).
That is the lens I am viewing this conflict through. To me, this has nothing to do with mistaken identity. To me, it’s about his defense echoing the behaviors that got people thinking in the first place he would not be safe to be around. Do you disagree?

Trying to paint Lithium owning up to being the person your speculating was about as a bad thing is pretty hilarious, man. In any actual rationale, it’s a good thing and a mark in their favor (evidenced by both Roz and IoleRae pointing out they don’t like Lithium but that Lithium doesn’t look all that bad in all this).
