foreplaysex??I’m not sure nor do I want to be filled in on the details but the scene I read was the confirmation that Ruiz ripped out his lover’s hamstring and the person was hobbling around on a cane. Yeah.
I don’t normally kinkshame but… I have a hard time wrapping my head around how that would turn anyone’s key…

@Cobalt Everything is SOMEONE’S kink. Which is fine! As long as you keep it to people who are having fun with that, and don’t try to pressure or coerce people who are NOT interested.

@Pyrephox There’s also a tendency to play characters that are of a racial and or cultural minority (from what I’ve seen it’s mostly Mexican or Native American) that are ex military middle aged men or older. Ruiz was a Mexican man, for example, who was ex military. I want to say he was a sniper in most incarnations, but I could be mixing that part with someone else.
His characters are usually bisexual men who are at least partially closeted about that bisexuality, may have had male lovers during their military days but it was super secret stuff, and from my observations he tended to favor male characters around his age but female characters that are much younger.
Like, 48 year old man going after 20 something girls while dating men that were his peers. That’s not to say that he wouldn’t go after some cute young guy, but his typical prey (and yes, he treats them as prey) are players of 20 something girls. I get the distinct impression he’d go younger than 21 if most games didn’t have that as their youngest appable age, now.
The biggest thing is the harem building, though. He’s not happy unless he has at least three people clinging to him at all times, and seems to actively enjoy hurting his roleplay partners OOCly with his IC infidelities.
None of these things on their own mean Ruiz/Ocelot. Goodness knows there are other bisexual disaster harem builders out there (Hi, Macha) but those are the biggest red flags for me, personally. I see ex-military Latino or Native American man, I interact politely but with extreme caution. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt while keeping an eye out for red flags.
That said, he may be changing his character playstyle as this has become familiar in recent days.

I have no clue. I just know that he seems to actively enjoy inflicting pain on his roleplay partners OOCly. Rather than playing IC ethical polyamory, he tells partners they’re exclusive, or in an exclusive triad for example, then turns around and chases the previously mentioned pretty young things.
Then when he’s caught, he either guilts and bullies the prior partners into being “okay” with the polyamory, or he turns it around and blames the pretty young thing for being so sexually aggressive and triggering him, making him feel like he’s “not allowed” to say no… to the sexual RP he specifically chased.

Unfortunately this is pretty straightforward abuser shit. It’s (generally) not so much about enjoying the hurting of the victims as it about breaking down their will to resist or question you.

No. They make them feel like they are wrong for NOT being jealous. Oocly the player must not care much.

Itzak or whatever blew up my discord last night defending Isaac and spinning a big long two year old conspiracy theory against them.
Setting up my iPhone to notify of new notifications from discord only every 2hrs was the best thing I ever did…

@Cobalt Ironically one of my GH Alts was in a relationship with Itzhak, who eventually left her for Rui, though I think story wise I just had my girl break up with him so she could go get herself some help and I idled her out for a while. I admit I wasn’t very active in general at that point but they (Itzhak) ALSO rarely ever asked me to play either and I hate feeling like I’m always the one reaching out. So when I eventually brought her back I just kept my distance.
Another of my alts also had IC history with Ruiz and lets just say I’m glad I’ve seemingly dodged all these bullets.
ETA: I have my discord notifications completely turned off on my phone. Best thing ever
