Let me re-read this shit. He said Eddie being a sex pest has not been reported with proof. So far as I can tell, this is true. His banning was due to harrassment that was not sexual in nature AFAICT. It’s on their bbposts still, actually. That doesn’t mean that therefore Eddie is an angel, it just means that Sephiroth said Eddie isn’t a sex pest, he’s an asshole.
He then said Chaos and the rest of staff are not sex pests. Chaos calling you cute is definitely inappropriate, but I can’t say that that behavior rises to “sex pest” material, especially given that it’s all you presented, so I see no pattern. You do say “he deleted several of his weirder DMs” and that may be true, but you could also just be saying that. and Sephiroth can’t know what’s in your personal DM history with Chaos in order to lie about it so there’s no “lie” here of Sephiroth’s to get heated about.
He said that he’s not TSing. Personally I’m happy taking that at face value because it’s not a reasonable concern to maintain. I have neither the time, inclination, nor the methods to make sure that staffers are not fucking. Or if they must, at least fucking me and lavishing me with attention (in the missionary position under the auspices of holy matrimony for the procreation of children in God’s holy name, Jesus be praised)
He questioned whether you had receipts re: outing people as trans, said to his knowledge no transphobia has occurred…
And then he said “Also you smell bad therfore your argument is invalid” in so many words, but rather he said “I bet you’re Vincent” which you confirmed in spades

You also confirmed that staffers “stood up for you to let it continue to play out ICly” (Sephiroth’s phrasing) and given your play by play of how you presented yourself to the vampires, even without Eddie being a shitbag, Ray Charles could see how that was going to go from the ISS.
He claimed that you had a buddy introduce a special plot where you turn into a mortal and they shot it down, you seem to think that Golconda turns you into a mortal, it doesn’t. It just makes your beast go into remission TLDR. You still are undead/wyrm-tainted.
And then he said he refused to give you further special favors like “Extra XP to acquire more ridiculous powers, above what the templates called for”
So I mean, no, I don’t think you let Sephiroth’s “lies” get to you unless it REALLY GOT UNDER YOUR SKIN that the SPECIFIC DETAIL OF WHO APPROVED your clusterfuck of a character mattered enough to write a goddamn thesis. I still maintain Sephiroth cheapened his point by pointing out your own flawed actions, but don’t get it twisted. He ain’t lyin’. ESH, Reddit, ESH.

@labsunlimited I’ve had a lot of fun with it, but that was many years ago. Lots of people still want to play and not all of them are assholes, but it seems to have it’s own quite specific community problems in MUSHland.

I have to say I did eventually give this place a try, and I didn’t have the greatest time with the staff there either.
I didn’t interact with Vincent, but I do remember seeing Eddie’s player being absolutely awful to him on the channel. To be clear, that player was not permanently banned for harassment (which is how I would interpret “banned” in my thought) but instead was temporarily banned for one week.
I did mostly enjoy my time on this game, and the players were a lot of fun, even if my time there ended on a sour note. My findings were that the staff are very interested and supportive, until they decide not to be any more, after which it took a rather sharp downturn.

Hey there, just for clarification, Primogen Samuel’s PLAYER was mistaken because he was in a fuckton of work related stress (still is) and misremembered the wrong park. Human error from a player’s perspective, not the character. The character would have obviously known it was Memorial park, not Sam Huston…if I haven’t messed it up again.

I considered it, and then heard via grape vine that one of the staffers there is the player of an insufferable, game-destroying PC leader on Liberation, who greets new PCs by insulting them and informing them that he’ll betray them in a heartbeat for half a stale Necco wafer, does not reward them for anything they do, ignores plot hooks rather than distribute plot (resulting in the threat fizzling away and him keeping the ‘secret’ as supposedly he’s got more Influence than most PCs have sheet, and thus has Too Big To Fail plot-armour), threaten-brags on channel about how many PKs he’s committed, orders other players around as if he’s not just staff (which he’s not, on Lib) but staff in a world where “staff” means “the boss of you and excused from having basic manners,” and whinges that nobody likes him.
MUs are fraught with wankery even when run by people who don’t have PCs that are object lessons in how to make the game suck for others.

Honestly my limited experience of Retro did remind me a great deal of old WoD MUs so in that instance of being ‘retro,’ it’s doing an excellent job
