Figured we’d get this started. I don’t have anything in particular, but the Arx Peeves thread already turned up.
What’s new in the WTF of the MU community? What’s driving you up a wall in scrolling text forms these days?

The idea of ‘running people off of games’. The idea of deciding you don’t like someone ‘for no reason’.
The fact that there are adult people who don’t realize if you want people to interact with you, you should make an effort to be pleasant to interact with.

I can definitely understand this at least. Sometimes people just rub me the wrong way, and that’s fine.

But that’s a REASON. I’m talking about someone saying the equivalent of “this player JUST DECIDED they didn’t like me and then they wouldn’t rp with me and then no one would rp with me” as if this is some proof of nefarious and malicious scheming. As if there’s no way that they rubbed someone the wrong way or acted like a thumb.
Perhaps instead they could consider they are fucking annoying in some way? Like you have to at least CONSIDER it.

Don’t bring logic into this, you saucy stroopwafel. People will find any reason other than themselves upon which to pin the blame.

Forever and always. Just…players who make it so that the rest of us have to be wary and mistrustful because they will absolutely try to manipulate and abuse other players to get their rocks off, or to fill whatever hole they have in their psyche.

@tsar At least people aren’t parking their asses in the rafters. Back in the early 00s, there were places on IRC where you could find no less that half a dozen dark, brooding strangers hanging out there in the rafters.

No matter what you choose, the scene goes on for hours with nothing actually happening. Because scenes have to go on until one party dies.

Peeve: How certain names are forever ruined by your experience with them.
E.G. I went on a game to check things out and froze in my seat when I saw the name Eloise. I did what I could to make sure that /that/ player was not there before even going beyond guest bit.
