They believe they are wanted, that the banning was based on false information and bias, and if only they got a fresh start, the bias could be overcome.

@Polk I know a dude who lied about his identity on Arx for years because he knew someone he played with regularly didn’t actually want to play with him.

i sure wish the type of character i like to play didn’t tend to attract so many creepers.

don’t page people about how excited you are for a TS scene that may have just been a false promise and my character keeping yours on the hook, ffs. even if there was a chance the moment you brought it ooc that went out the window.

generally just don’t page people you don’t know about TS.

Descs do not, nor should not have some kind of metaposing in it. They are a factual description of what a thing, be it place, person, or thing, looks like. It’s not there to illicit some kind of reaction in the person looking at it. That’s up to the other character to decide how they want to react to it.

I thought this would be common knowledge at this point.

I disagree with this.

If I’m describing a creepy old mansion, I hope I illicit a dude, that’s creepy reaction.

If I’m doing it right, I can accomplish this by describing the spiderwebs and mildew-smell and what may or may not be a pile of human bones in the corner, but sometimes… sometimes all I got is @desc here=This mansion is creepy.

@Pavel Not only did I never bother to read descs, I also never even bothered to check anyone’s PB. Just like I was never really thinking about what Arthur Dent or Ford Prefect actually looked like when I was reading HHGttG.

We were all just featureless silhouettes interacting with each other as far as my brain was concerned.
