We don’t make a practice of deleting offensive posts from banned users. But I find myself bothered by the amount of hate they managed in so short a time.
I hate knowing that admitting this makes them happy. Good job. I find you vile. You got a reaction from me. I hope that’s your real life happy for the day.

I doubt anything makes folks like that particularly happy. Gleeful, maybe, but enh. I get gleeful over petty shit all the time, and it makes me about as “happy” as a bite of peanut brittle. Pride brings me happiness. I’m guessing this person doesn’t know that feeling, and that’s why they’re settling for pettily gleeful. Hopefully, they find something that teaches them the difference someday.

Honestly, while I understand why people are upset…
I also have to admit that I laughed a whole lot at the one post that’s still up. Not because I think that what OT The Real was doing was okay, but because there’s some part of my brain that’s like:
“Ohh! Dude. You called me a gay communist? Cool. That means you were listening. So anyway, about the next point on the AGENDA…”

Everything they posted is up. Like I said, I don’t like deleting. The part that got me was their response to KB’s post in RL happy. It was so needless and cruel and small.
Then again, it’s nice to see them get ratiod into the dirt.

He’s no one’s first rodeo, and we’ve got way more joy than hate can ever stop.
Not to mention, plenty of soup. For our families. Once the bricks run out.
Because honestly, Pride has always been a riot, and those of us on the left have mutual aid running way deeper than anyone else’s mouths. It’s sad some folks are still in their little hate bubbles. But the rest of us have learned how to work over/around/through them generations ago.

Normally, we try to keep up all these posts so that discussions don’t lose context and users can see what has led to the decisions administrators made. However, this post contained multiple slurs that no one needs to see staring them in the face whenever they come to this thread. As the rest of the words contain no value or contribution, we’ve removed them.
This is probably the right thread to discuss this decision if you would like.
