@Prototart was pointing out Rouge-players have traditionally used her powers as an excuse to hyperfixate on fetish/bondage RP that ‘tee-hee, kinky and saves people from dying while touching her’, and occasionally drift into a barely-legal area.
You mistook this to mean these players were giving her Bondage powers.
Also, the difference is spandex vs latex, obvs.

Right, gotcha, gotcha. I do see the player in question once had Rogue wearing latex gloves while doing some lab work, does that count? It feels disappointingly unbondage-y and scandalous.

I was present for all of this shit. Even as fucked as my memory can be, I trust it way more than I trust someone who’s told a bunch of lies that are laughably transparent to anyone who ever had the misfortune of dealing with staff on UH or HA.
I was super off on 7 years, tho. Chalk it up to sleeping four hours across three days. Going off the logs I can find, looks like it was closer to 3.
PS for the record and since someone asked me, the person who uses the handle @Ruby on Ares is emphatically not the Ruby that I have referenced. Ares Ruby is charming, while UH Ruby (common characters: Rogue, Lara Croft, Wonder Woman) is a mendacious cretin who spent years viciously attacking any woman who tried to speak out against the predators she attached herself to.
PPS, yes, I wish MSB still existed as an archive, the behavior of basically everyone involved was on full display.

From what little I know about Ruby, we all know that she’s picking LC for two very certain assets that appeal to Ruby’s target audience and nothing else.

I havent checked on this thread in like a week but I just want to say that I believe @Prototart
. I had very much similar experiences or had friends have those experiences with everyone involved.
I think I mostly avoided comic games after that but Covid was like 50 years ago and time blends together. -

Rogue was definitely a teenager when we started on UH, because something I keenly remember from the tail end of our time there was Jean quietly wanting to skin Gambit alive for dating a teenage student when he’d been positioned (by Ditko) as a teacher, but me the player not wanting to Debbie Downer all over what others seemed to think was romantic rather than horrible.

These Age of Heroes people are never going to own up to lying, failing to credit where credit is due, or using AI to steal other people’s work. However it’s pretty uncool behavior in this small community, it is obvious behavior in this small community, it is rude, and it is shady.
Reminder to all of this very poor etiquette in our small community, lest it get buried under someone defending this poor, poor Chaucer fellow.
