I answered a question so wrong about creating a room exit on info once despite having written a WHOLE DAMN GUIDE about rooms and exits. I still feel mortified.

There is no answer at the moment. Maybe that’ll change at some point, maybe it won’t!
Back when I had a char there it was probably trying to look up someone’s finger stuff with ‘info’ which just spammed their name to the channel.

Here are the top 5 most embarassing things to do on Arx that are completely universal and not at all specific to me:
#5 Writing a roster application when you don’t really know what you want to do with the character but you think they are cool and just want to play them and your application ends up looking like word vomit
#4. Getting said character and then having a Life Event happen where you end up not signing in for 3 days which turns into 2 weeks and then you are too embarassed to continue logging in so you let them idle roster and then go and do #5 again
#3. Getting a different character that is REALLY COOL!! and being hyped to log in, make your ‘hi I’m new here’ post and then have Life Events and Work Events keep you offline for your whole two extra XP weeks and now you’ve missed those but you still want to keep the character but people probably think you’ve idled out but you don’t want to idle out but omg can you even pick up speed on this character that you’ve had for 5 weeks now and have only rp’d once and WHAT ABOUT THE TWO WEEKS OF EXTRA XP YOU LOST?!?!? Cringe.
#2. Thinking you are so cool/interesting/hilarious because you made yourself an actual bear as a pet and you know you’re not THE reason staff made a rule about no crazy animals as pets but you are definitely A reason and it’s been years but you still cringe at the thought but you also kinda miss that bear?
But the # 1 most embarassing thing anyone does on Arx is:
#1 Trying to check ‘who’ on a channel but screwing it up so you end up saying ‘who’ on the channel and just want to die inside.
ETA: why is BMD trying to make me look dumb by renumbering my items? This is a countdown list, not a numbered list starting at 5! Gosh. Fixed.

Make grand plans and then forget to log in (halp)

Missing the events I scheduled.
Paging someone else to talk about a 3rd party… but accidentally paging the person you’re talking about instead. (This looks bad, I know, but sometimes people are legit crazy af and you need confirmation YOU aren’t crazy.)

Letting staff know you have engaged in the IC coitus and in 4.5 RL months you will have an IC baby, only to learn you don’t have to tell them this. I didn’t know there wasn’t paperwork, guys, I’m sorry.
Sending in an action where all your text has been painstakingly rainbow colored not realizing that doesn’t translate staff side and then Apostate makes a news post saying please don’t use colors in your actions ever for the love of Jayus please.
Getting caught junking babies. Not a sentence I thought I’d write.
Realizing a stranger you vouched for and brought into Arx might not be the best fit. But I did apologize and was forgiven, though I was still pretty embarrassed.
Kicking a player out of your bedroom in an absolute panic when they log in and you’re in the middle of very graphic scene and really, I could have handled that better.

I asked at one point if they wanted a report for the same, you’re not the only one who thought that!!! There are actual games out there where it’s a requirement! Or used to be.
