@shit-piss-love Yeah, more training data is needed.
There’s not nearly enough pseudo-intellectual metaphors or grade school insults about how utterly boring we are. Not at all like the Most Interesting Uber-Mind In the World that is he.

@mietze I’m pretty sure it’s the person who posted the game ad over at the other board.

Y’know, consistently writing in metaphors and hyperbole doesn’t actually make you sound smarter.
It works fine when I do it.

@Pavel lol not always

@MisterBoring That is still inuki/cookitypook/etc.
Like someone else said this might just be a new weirdo.
-
@Jenn I’m sorry they sent that stuff to you. I’ll be honest. ANYONE who does that shit is not your friend, and it’s pretty much never done kindly.

“lol i dont even Rp”
whoa, whoa, whoa
are you accusing serafine of being Ghost?
cuz i could see that

@Coin too short of paragraphs

you’re right, ghost does have that chronic inability to hit ‘enter’.
-
Well that was a ride.
I’d continue to explain that asking for clarification is not the same as asking for personal information but it is clear this person doesn’t actually have any interest in good faith discourse.
But I will say that I finally got my answer:
No, Inuki did not blame her hospitalization on Jenn.
Because “this person is stressing me out” != “this person caused me to go to the ER”.
This kind of a not ok thing to be telling random players but not PHB levels of yesteryear where staffers would be in the middle of fighting with someone and then faceroll the keyboard and their roommate would come in saying that they were having a heartattack and had to leave.

@Coin I feel like “i don’t even RP” was the only bingo card phrase they didn’t hit.
But that was the vibe I was getting.

Yeah, unfortunately. I always try to give the benefit of a doubt – my first post was an admittedly snarky but genuine attempt to get a real answer – but when he refused to answer a yes or no question, it was pretty clear he had no interest in actually discussing anything.
Perhaps I shouldn’t have been so snarky, but his entitled ‘what benefit is it to me to answer?!’ statement and pseudo-intellectual attitude did annoy me. I’ve had to deal with idiots like him a lot in my job; people who believe themselves to be oh-so-deep and meaningful and intellectually superior to everyone around them when in reality they’re about as deep as a puddle of dog piss and high on their own farts.

Yeah. I’m all for calling people out for things they do, but wild accusations (especially of something like ‘I was put in the ER because of Player X!’) don’t really help. Let people be damned for the wrongs they do, not made up ones.
Inuki has plenty wrong without needing baseless claims made about them.

Honestly? I had a tinfoil hat moment where I thought it was inuki trying to disguise herself by using an AI to respond. Serafine comes swooping in out of nowhere going SUP Y’ALL and gets into it in a rather direct, and I dare say malicious way.
Either way, they were being seriously disingenuous about the whole situation, I thought.
-
My take is they were reading stuff wrong and instead of admitting as such decided to go full tilt into their misunderstanding over admitting it. Although, I stopped reading the majority of what Serafine was saying because it took to long to translate it into wording that made at least passable sense.

I could see that. Considering his ego about his own intelligence, being wrong would be worse than death, so forging ahead regardless of any other factors would definitely be in the cards.
It would also explain why he utterly refused to clarify his accusation. Because if he did, the holes in his Majestic Intellectual Castle would be evident. So he had to obfuscate, move goalposts and finally just descend into schoolyard taunts and insults about how boring and stupid everyone else was since they couldn’t possibly understand his towering intellect in order to protect his deflating ego.

I was so disappointed he never went to the ‘I am living rent free in all your heads, nerds!’ route so I could post this:
-
@STD I’m sure he’s paying rent to inuki.
-
It being ghost would make the attempt at twisting my words in a weird hateboner for me would make sense….
