If itās what I think itās about, here is my measured and fair synopsis:

Guy: āYou are not a nice person.ā
Other guy: āThis is akin to a police shooting.āExcept it went on for twenty minutes.

Twice now Iāve seen someone ragequit on ares viaā¦ attempting to blank their profile. Like delete all photos and then try to leave the fields empty. Then individually leave channels.
I guess on a web-based platform you canāt really slam the door as easily.
ETA: Iāve also heard stories of folk going in to edit other peoplesā wiki pages to scrub their character OUT. Which reminds me of another story about a banned person Old Transformers Game threatening to send some kind of DMCA over their own uploads.

That reminds me of the person on a Cyberpunk themed game around 2003-2004 who demanded that the staff retcon all of the stuff they did that affected the main plot.
