I wandered off the Network even though I loved my character and the concept and the stories. No staff toxicity that I can recall. There were some other players I didn’t really want to deal with who were super active and they felt ubiquitous whether or not they actually were and my energy levels were super low so it was way easier to just drift away than trying to do things.
This is some serious Coin beef you’re showing and I’m super curious.

Ah, now the weirdass tantrum in the other thread makes sense. Yeah, I’ve known the dude who runs The Network for more than 20 years, and I can and will say with 100% absolute certainty that they are not toxic. He’s solid, good people. One of like five people I will give a resounding recommendation as to the stability of. He’s not perfect (nobody is), but he’s a good dude.

I don’t even know him very well. But we’ve stumbled across each other on a few games and he’s always been perfectly polite and pleasant to me and seemingly every other person I’ve watched him interact with.

There’s bound to be a twitter thread extolling that exact point, honestly.
It comes from, in my experience, viewing any behaviour you don’t like or that causes someone to act against you as ‘toxic.’ This instead of the more sensible idea that you just don’t get on with someone, or they think you’re a prat.

@foksthery is @tek over on MSB, also known as Chandra@TheNetwork, who got banned recently because she kept stirring up random and baseless drama, including spamming chat and just riding Clockwork’s ass about bullshit constantly.
She has it in her head that I hate her, but the only times I think about her are when she gets paranoid and crazy about me hating her and explodes all over people who know me – mostly Clockwork.
So, basically, all that “I don’t know you but I have heard stories” is bullshit, and I have receipts and conversations, in case someone shows her this (since she allegedly blocked me) and she wants to come at me.
Every single time you come out with guns blazing, and every time you end up flailing like a lemming rolling downhill. Fuck’s sake.
In Occam I trust.
