@SpaceKhomeini While not -exactly- an “Expanse” game, you might want to look up Torchship MOO, as it has some strong Expanse influences.

I would so so so love to see a Paranoia game. Whether it be MUSH, MUX, or MUD, I could see it working (albeit differently) in each environment, but definitely I’d want it to be RP focused regardless.

@Rucket Oh I hear that. That’s why we hired movers to begin with. Then we got hit by one of the larger moving scam companies in the country. Was a nightmare.

But at least it all had a happy ending, and a couple years later our lives have settled down in our new town. That post move destress feeling really is great, when you stop living on adrenaline and cortisol and worry.

@Solstice 5% is a huge step when it comes to weight loss. That’s 1/20th of your trip. Good job!

@Rucket Moved about 2 months ago and still have a few boxes waiting to get unpacked, but I partially blame our mad rush to get a garden planted for that.

Still, I feel that ‘thank god the move is over’ feel. Was it a long move or a short one? We had a cross country move about 20 months ago and nearly lost all our belongings because of a scam company. Still lost out on 7k, plus the actual cost of renting a U-Haul to go get our stuff.

But we’re good now, and I’m happy your move is settling in.

@real_mirage I would absolutely say that “Gibsonian” is a word in the context of cyberpunk, and I agree 100% that it’s different than Shadowrun. Just thought I’d toss it out there as a fringe option.

Good luck finding a more fulfilling cyberpunk experience. It’s pretty slim pickings as of now.

@Selira My brother, who has actually hit #1 on the Barbarian leaderboards on D3 more than once, said that D4 was shockingly dark and horror oriented after the cartoony nature of D3.

This actually appeals to me.

@Wuff Oh, she, the nurse, and even the doctor himself took place in cleaning it up. It was definitely, DEFINITELY not a one person job.

The doctor would not normally ever participate in cleaning, but he felt really bad.

@Pavel And yes, it apparently is extremely efficacious. It worked… ohhhh did it work. The doc was so proud of himself when he prescribed it, too, because none of the med staff had heard of such a thing. They call it an ‘M and M and enema’ jokingly and because of the quasi-alliteration.

Anyway, yeah, didn’t mean to go all off topic. I just saw the mention of molasses and thought I’d share. I’m generous like that.

@Pavel So my wife told me about her worst day at work ever, when a young kid came into the ER with constipation, and the doc ordered a milk and molasses enema.

Apparently it was like that scene from Daddy Daycare. You know the one.
