      All I gotta say is:

I woke up feeling so good, I think I’d better call in sick/ I need a personal trainer to help me hold my drink
I plan to be spontaneous next time we meet/I’m putting off procrastinating until next week
I’ll get onto it when I give a shit

I finished chargen for Shatteredmu last night, which seems like a really cool game that I am sincerely excited to play. Also, I completed my own Ares installation a couple days ago for a thing I’ve been working on the last few months and it’s gratifying to take that step forward. Has been a good MU week for me and i just felt like sharing the vibe

I love having places where I can play with my friends again, even if I wish we were all at the SAME place. Plus, I just saw a zombie-survival game in development on Ares and the hype is real, it’s like people are finally building the games I want to play and I didn’t even have to do anything!!

It’s a mild peeve when there are four people in a scene, each responding to four different conversation threads per pose. It’s a little difficult to follow along with in the moment, and worse when you’re trying to read a posted scene.

However, I think it’s amazing that we’re all able to suspend our disbelief of what’s happening and play out four separate moments simultaneously, without it ruining the continuity of the scene. Human imagination is magical like that!

When my Google history is once again filled with “what happens if you inject someone with [stuff],” it’s a sure sign I’m entertained by a M*. 😄

Some of my friends are enabling me to use my law-adjacent knowledge to have a character with a fake lawyer persona in a setting that doesn’t even follow the US law system and it’s delightful mayhem.

I sometimes think that, for better or worse, I can’t possibly encounter people I’ve NEVER RP’d with anymore or shared game-space with. But sometimes I do, and not only are they new, they’re WONDERFUL, and that’s real nice.

Having people reach out to make background connections, and then seeing those background connections actually build and grow through the RP into story. I love it. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a couple people reach out to me to make connections with my character on LA2043.

I was stupidly flattered by this.

1-click Ares Digital Ocean droplet. This is the the first time I have gone from nothing to being able to log into my own bit with nobody else intervening. I’ve ALWAYS flailed and decided I couldn’t do it before, and one of the very patient people in my world helped me. I did it this time though. 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 Those directions are so good! I wanted to fuss around with it a little bit, and now I can!

                                      @IoleRae -

Ooo I have a question about that as Digital Ocean was confusing me.

                                      69d81d52-b9d1-4815-a89f-22d3f364e3e2-image.png

That cost is just $4 or like $4 a month plus some hour thing? I’ve not seen the per-hour displayed before.

@Whisky $4 a month is $0.0054757015742642 an hour. So it’s the same thing.

@Pavel - Well that’s what I thought but also displaying the per hour rate was throwing me off. Especially as it didn’t cover it in the FAQs.
