KPop Demon Hunters.
Game when?
-
@Snackness NOT SOON ENOUGH
-
@Snackness I call dibs on having a tiger-cat-thing minion.
-
I don’t know anything about K-POP Demon Hunters, but my question is what the (MU*) rules for the K-POP idols are, because don’t idols have certain restrictions in their contracts irl?
-
I would come out of retirement for this.

After a long time of patience and effort, my physical degree was sent to me in the mail, and my happiness is immeasurable.
It hangs on my wall over my desk, right next to a framed autograph of Jeffrey Coombs, because the frames match and I am not being monitored adequately.

I had a fairly involved surgery in April to remove calcium deposits in my shoulder, and subsequently to repair my rotator cuff. It did an absolute number on me.
BUT.
Today, I went to feel the circumference of my upper arm and I can no longer almost GET MY FINGERS ALL THE WAY AROUND. It’s feeling like I have actual muscles there again which is like-- an absolute relief to experience.

framed autograph of Jeffrey Coombs
When I met him at a con in 2009, I was astonished to find that he’s much much shorter than he appears in the movies. I wasn’t able to get an autograph, but we did have a nice chat about how he had probably done more stuff based on HP Lovecraft than any other actor in history.

It’s not really happy, but I feel compelled to tell people how my ex, who accused me of TRICKING HIM into being GAY, stole my autographed photograph of George Takei and my purple harem pants, the third gayest pair of trousers in the world. And it is funny.

-
@helvetica I wonder what I should charge people for the service of tricking someone else to be gay. I am not sure how long it took so it’s hard to calculate.

@Gashlycrumb Take your expenditure for parts, props, and other sundries, jack up the price by 60% for labour costs, and that’s your daily.

If we’re going by daily, don’t forget the retainer.

The Pogues lead singer, Shane MacGowan. Christmas was never complete without hearing their Fairytale of New York. Best xmas song ever! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-67546785
This one is… sigh. Cry.
Back in March of 2008, right before St. Patrick’s Day, the Pogues were supposed to play a relatively small venue here in Philadelphia. Like, holds about 2000 people small. I had tickets to see them, but at the time I lived over an hour outside the city and this terrible winter storm blew in. We usually don’t get snow that late, but it was piling high, the roads were wet from the day before, and everything started to freeze over. Even the trains into the city had warnings about delays and cancellations and I was afraid that if I tried going to the show I’d either get in an accident or get stuck there with nowhere to sleep. Besides, I was convinced – convinced! – that with such miserable conditions, they were going to reschedule.
They didn’t. The band played on anyway, to a tiny audience of about 300-400 people, and I missed it. I didn’t know it at the time, but I would never have another chance to see the Pogues. They played New York and Baltimore and DC, but they never came to Philly again. That was my one and only chance and I decided not to go.
Buy the tickets, folks. Go to the show. Do the thing. Don’t miss out.
So I finally got to see The Pogues.
There’s only three of them left. And it took five different singers to cover for Shane McGowan. But I got to see them, and it was lovely, and I’m happy.
Buy the tickets, folks. Go to the show. Do the thing. Don’t miss out.
