I do not understand how Kestrel got banned, yet that post I wrote flatly condemning everyone still at MSB is somehow okay, presumably because I said “I think” or “I feel” or “This place reminds me of” rather than “You are.”
Except of course I understand how Kestrel got banned. She embarrassed the new regime, and this sin above all others must never be tolerated. It’s not even subtle. Fuck’s sake.

I am somehow both these things. That said, I got a smile when the WoD thread popped up because it felt like a constant in this chaotic universe we dwell in.
Edited to Add: Oh, yeah, and Kestrel’s ban was 200% bullshit even on the level of the other bans, but I leave MSB in the kindly and civil hands of Ghost. May it prosper.

I find this one especially funny because Ganymede’s stated defense to the accusation that they weren’t banning all the people who call out predators was that @Kestrel (and @Aria, I think?) weren’t banned.
I believe the actual reason I wasn’t banned was because I didn’t participate in that shitshow when it all went down.
In fact, I actually didn’t know it was happening for several days because apparently when you block someone on MSB, that includes any thread they start regardless of who posts in it, not just their personal posts. Poor @Testament had to explain to me what was going on when I was like “The fuck? What is this? Why is this thread being necro’d? Why am I being @-ed in random things? What?”
So I was just toddling around like a blissful idiot while Rome burned, oblivious to what was going on. It was actually kind of nice. I encourage you all to embrace your inner I-Have-No-Idea-What’s-Happening.

There were some mentions made awhile back that some of the bannings were due to inappropriate PMs. To be clear, there was one due to DMs, Farfalla, as was announced on the forum at the time, and one banning based on reported predatory behavior. Those were not reconsidered at all, and anything attributed to those should not be lumped in with the rest of the bans.
