@Pyrephox Cliff & Cecilia had a horrible tragic end in my head. It involved her turning a bit Rogue-like and transmitting her empathetic powers through touch, and Cliff was all about holding hands and hating powers and anyway. They never work it out.
Because all the best stories are sad ones.
Someday, if we ever have toons that can stand each other again (which is like finding a leprechaun, I know), we can get angsty. You remain one of my favorite people to play psychotic with. 馃グ

being more interested in a game than a game is in you. that鈥檚 all. that鈥檚 the peeve.

Asking a character if they would be willing to do an event IC, only to get an @mail telling you that they have this OTHER event they want to do instead of the one you ICly asked them to do because they are sure more players would be more interested in that event.
A couple of months later, schedule a similar event you asked about previously without going through them after they already indicated they were not interested in scheduling those types of events because you want to kick off some plots you also scheduled, only to get an @mail about stepping on their IC job.

I remember talking about an idea I had for an event trying to see if there was any interest, only to have someone not in the conversation post the exact same thing as an event an hour or so later. At the time I was like oh, it must鈥檝e been a good idea because someone else had it too!
I later found out that person had an alt on the channel where I鈥檇 been talking about it.
Oh well, it was still a good idea!

I genuinely do not enjoy running events. Don鈥檛 enjoy going to them, either. I like intimate rp, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3. And someday I won鈥檛 feel guilty about that. #affirmations

@Nynrose Well I hope they were polite at least. You do a lot, and in the over a decade I鈥檝e known you, you have never failed to be anything but a huge positive contributor to whatever community you were part of.

Reeling a bit from a mispage earlier in the day that kinda took the wind out of my sails.
On the one hand, I guess I know who to avoid in the future. But it鈥檚 coming at a really bad place of timing.
It really sucks to feel like you鈥檙e okayish enough to pass the time with RP wise if there鈥檚 nothing better to do, but you鈥檙e not of the caliber where it would be worth engaging in deeper RP with you since you鈥檙e just a lightweight bore and there鈥檚 nothing substantial there.
I do often feel (as do like 98 percent of the people I know) like i鈥檓 the always the unwanted/last person to be picked for the kickball team. I don鈥檛 /think/ it鈥檚 the reality (and hey if we were all the super popular kickball captains growing up maybe we wouldn鈥檛 have gotten into mushing or whatever so it鈥檚 just kind of a primal worry for a lot of people. But i鈥檓 feeling it super hard tonight.
I鈥檒l work through it (or disappear) but damn. I鈥檝e done my share of mispages but it鈥檚 been awhile since I got one and i have to say it kinda really did hurt this time. Even if if it鈥檚 from someone that I really don鈥檛 even care about!

I have definitely said far FAR unkinder things than was said about me. So long term I鈥檓 not worried, it鈥檚 just been part of a tiring, stressful, blah day.

You and I have a bit in common (the bolded bit). I鈥檝e kind of lost my will to RP (in all of 2022 I don鈥檛 run out of fingers on one hand for number of scenes), but even when I had more energy for it I always felt more on the side of things, even though I can point to occasions where that鈥檚 not true.
