AI In Poses

@RightMeow said in AI In Poses:
I can’t imagine they are getting much out of the scene and I feel bad that they are robbing themselves (and others) from the authentic experience.
I started doing this when I was like 8 or 9, and I totally sucked but I don’t think even then it would’ve appealed to me to totally fake it that way. The right way to fake it is to just shamelessly imitate somebody you think is really good until somebody else thinks you’re really good and then spend the rest of your life quietly assured one day everybody will realize you’re a total fraud

This Verge article is very on point for this:

Chat Gippity is really awful at writing emotes, but that’s mostly because it writes like an HR lady or a shitlib therapist. Claude isn’t much better. This is less an issue with LLMs conceptually and more an issue with the jews who are producing them. Grok is much less censored/retarded and lets you write whatever you want, in the style of any author you like (J.K. Rowling, Andrew Anglin, Anne Rice, Sam Hyde, Stephenie Meyer, or whoever else), and it does a decent enough job. You can always edit the parts out that are stupid before posting, anyway.

@A10-Rockwell Are you lost?
-
@Juniper They just need to edit the parts out that are stupid before posting.

idk if I’m posting this bc my rage needs company or a genuine desire to warn people away who might be bad at recognizing LLM-generated content or bc I’m tryna callout, but it seems relevant. I found a game somebody’s working on that is literally completely entirely AI-written. Like i was reading the game info page and felt like i was being tortured by the fbi it is syntactical purgatory please help.

it’s so bad it’s so bad like genuinely what is the point of participating in a writing hobby and building a game within it if you believe that little in your own creativity AAAAAAAAAA
rant over, carry on -
@Artemis LLM aside I’m struggling to figure out wtf they’re actually advertising…
“Current Windows testing uses MonkeyTerm with a Macrocosm XML connection file” is this what it sounds like when I try to explain using a telnet client?
-
@Pavel idfk. i can’t tell what type of game it’s supposed to be either, apparently there will be auditory elements or something? dunno if it’s just the way the AI writes but the gameplay sounds boring as shit.

I found this on the character request page.
“Your reply email and any accessibility, communication, or content-boundary information are for private review by Auralae, Dante, and the supporting staff who need it. Never submit a password, server address, port, connection file, private credential, or medical diagnosis.”
What a strange final item on that list.

Their “game info” guide pulled what appears to be a picture of random Meta/Facebook employees to show what kind of character you can play.
The depth of gibberish is kind of amazing, I thought I’d seen some clanker slop before but this is the MOST clanker.

I’m not convinced a human was involved in this. Are we sure this wasn’t just ChatGPT breaking containment again?
