I am reminded of a similar crash out back on… NOLA 2?

A player posted a NSFW log (it was this player and their IRL partner) on the wiki without tagging it. The head staff/game runner asked said person to either remove it or at least tag it.

The player then proceeds to crash out, tearing down everything about them and their partner’s characters from the wiki. Apparently also threw a tantrum at staff about the whole situation before leaving. Their partner seemed genuinely apologetic (and embarrassed) about it all, said sorrys for their partner and them, then quietly left as well.

I got my only accusation of racism as a school counselor over schedule changes, and upon investigation, realized where it came from. I was denying schedule changes according to the written policy, but certain students (mostly wealthy and white) appealed over my head to a vice principal who made the schedule changes they requested, so it very much looked like some students were receiving favorable treatment (which they were, just not from me).

Unfortunately, there was no denying that the school and district had issues with systemic racism, which made it understandable that parents would become frustrated.

Two friends of mine have an old man cat named Speedbump, which is probably the best name a cat has ever had in the history of ever. Speedbump is also diabetic and is doing very well, to the point that he’s down to one injection a day instead of two.

The problem: Speedbump has been trained so well on his routine that he now comes to my friend at 9PM on the dot for his second injection and the treats that come with it. Friend has tried giving Speedbump the treats without the injection, but he knows he has to wait for the injection and will just sit there, staring longingly and meowing for his treats. So now Speedbump gets an injection once a day in the morning, and every night he gets a tiny little pinch on the back so he knows can have his snack. 🐱

Just yesterday I said I was impressed that Liberation was going strong after its rough start.

The recent alarm seems like the general slowness that happens this time of year. To compare, I only ran about 3 events during the entire holiday season on Silent Heaven, when I usually do at least 2 per week. I suspect things will gradually pick up as the solstice grows further behind us.

@Artemis There’s a group of us that’s adapting DnD rules into a post Second Reckoning campaign. One friend is doing a small module to apply to Arx and I’m creating a longer campiagn that’ll probably take place five years after putting Azazel back into his box.

Yes, I feel this way.

I beat DQ1-3 but I need to finish Octopath Zero and DQ7.

It also doesn’t help that I spend about 3-4 hours a day painting now lol.

I am but a week away from getting a computer capable of running baldur’s gate 3. Once I make sure the machine is actually going to work I’m going to buy it on steam. I cannot wait to play this game. I’m old and about to die so I’m going to spend the last few years of my life acting like I’m 14.
